Rian has been in the digital space for the best part of the last 15 years and is as passionate about digital today as he was when he first started his career. He has helped digitally transform some of the world’s biggest brands like Blackberry, Samsung, UBS, Dell, SKY, Symantec, GE Money, Paypal, Xerox, Tom Tom, Sony Ericsson, RCS and Brandhouse to mention a few. He is also the founder of the Digital Marketing Collective – an event that aims to improve and grow the stature of South Africa’s digital marketing industry.
His passion for innovation is the driving force in all his business endeavours and he is always on the lookout for the next big thing in the digital market. When not enjoying time with his family, he is working on improving his golf handicap.
GRANT KELROE-COOKE / MANAGING DIRECTOR
Grant has worked across all spectrums of the digital marketing landscape (Publisher, Advertiser and Agency). Which makes him uniquely positioned when it comes to ensuring all Pulse Ads partners generate maximum benefit from their performance marketing initiatives.
His career started in corporate sales and marketing management for companies like MTN and Nashua. In 2003, he moved into digital marketing where he dealt with online acquisition for global online casino brands. During that time he worked closely with international publishers, and performance networks. Ensuring maximum ROI from what were some of the biggest digital ad spends in the market, at the time.
After a stint running his own digital marketing company, Grant joined Primedia Online as Sales Director. There he was responsible for generating ad revenue, ad serving and campaign management for some of the biggest online properties in South Africa. Including IOL, iafrica, Gumtree, the Independent Media newspaper websites, and many others.
When he joined Pulse Ads 3 years ago, all his career moves converged to make him the expert in the performance marketing industry he is today.
